Not long ago, during an online inspection, the police found that the photo of Wenzhou girl Xiao Li’s holding certificate had flowed into the hands of criminals and was used to register an account on an overseas shopping website.

It turned out that when Xiao Li was part-time, the intermediary said that as long as he downloaded and registered an APP, he could get 50 yuan as a reward. But asked her to take a few pictures with her ID and the newspaper of the day.

The police immediately located the source of the leaked information in Nan’an, Fujian, and arrested the criminal suspects Lin Moufeng and Lin Moujun. At the scene, they seized more than 20,000 photos of citizens holding ID cards from the computer responsible for the crime. The two explained that they made profits by selling accounts on overseas shopping platforms.

These accounts are divided into personal and business. If you register for a personal account, you must collect all “four-piece sets”, that is, personal “photos of holding newspapers”, “photos of holding white paper” and “photos of front and back sides of ID cards”; “On top of that, an industrial and commercial business license is added.

Since 2016, the two have purchased a large number of citizens holding ID cards from the “shangjia” Ma and You, and entrusted Zhao PS to forge and counterfeit industrial and commercial business licenses.

A set of hand-held photos costing 80 to 100 yuan can be sold for 500 to 600 yuan after being registered as an overseas shopping website account, and a corporate account can be sold for up to 1200 yuan.

Within two months, the police successively arrested four criminal suspects including Li Mou, Zhang Mou, Zhao Mouhui, Fang Mou in Zhejiang, Shandong, Fujian and other places, and intercepted unsold citizens holding ID cards and counterfeit industrial and commercial business licenses. And more than 980,000 registered overseas shopping platform accounts.

According to Li, he bought a photo of someone holding an ID card on the Internet for 80 cents by chance. After discovering a “business opportunity”, he started a “business” of reselling other people’s hand-held photos.

He bought a large number of hand-held photos for a few cents to a few cents each, and sold them to “registrars” such as Lin for 80 to 100 yuan. During the investigation, the police also found that Li and others not only traded personal information with each other, but also had records of buying a large number of hand-held photos from a certain website. The website has more than 20,000 registered users and frequent online transactions.

The police went to Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, arrested Yang Mou, Zhu Mou, and Jiang Mou, the operators of the website, and seized more than 100,000 handheld photos sold by the website. At present, all 11 members of the gang have been arrested, and the task force has intercepted more than 1.1 million hand-held photos.

The suspects confessed that their hand-held photos generally come from two sources: one is the information of part-timers obtained or bought by “black intermediaries” in the name of recruiting workers and registering third-party platform information, etc., and the other is the leakage of informal financial websites. out user information.
