HTC “Wildfire” returns, pushes new models equipped with MediaTek P23 processor

On February 28th, HTC launched a new machine after a long absence, the HTC Wildfire R70, and the familiar Wildfire series is back.

The Wildfire R70 is equipped with a 6.53-inch water drop screen with a resolution of 720P and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, which is also the most mainstream body ratio at present. The processor is equipped with MediaTek’s P23 processor, which is built by TSMC’s 16nm process. On the CPU architecture, it is equipped with 4 high frequency A53s (up to 2.3GHz) and 4 low frequency A53s (up to 1.65GHz). Support LTE Cat.7/13, the maximum download and upload speed is up to 300Mbps (37.5MB/s), 150Mbps (18.75MB/s), and it can also support dual-card dual-standby and dual 4G functions at the same time.

In terms of photography, the Wildfire R70 consists of a 16-megapixel main camera + 2-megapixel macro + 2-megapixel depth of field to form a rear three-camera module, and the front camera is 8 million pixels. Other specifications are more common, built-in 4000mAh battery, can support up to 10W charging, rear fingerprint recognition, and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. But it is worth mentioning that the Wildfire R70 still uses the Micro-USB interface.

In appearance, the HTC Wildfire R70 adopts a gradient color design, available in blue and black, with measurements of 163.2 x 77.8 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 186g.
